Dragon Knight

Post by Quickblade22 »

This minifig features the BrickForge Dragon Sword, Vambraces, and Double Plume and the BrickWarriors Horned Plate Armor. I also wanted to try my photoshop skills at adding a background and inserting 2 photos in one. Enjoy.

That looks awesome! I really like the way the armor looks with the helm and torso/legs combo.

On another note, that swamp looks awfully familiar. Been snooping in the LCC Outlaws thread lately, have we? :raiseone:

Thanks. The background was just an image I came across on Google, but I do have some LCC inspired creations in mind.

Very nice! He looks vicious. With the background you have it almost looks like he should have a lit torch in the other hand.

very cool :) I'm not normally a big fan of that sword, but it looks great on him.

The armour looks great with that helmet. At first I thought the BrickWarriors stuff was nice, but a bit too 'out there' to fit subtly alongside normal lego. This figure shows it can be done. Might have to pick some up :D

I was right there with you, but I agree the armor looks great here. Still not totally sold on most 3rd party stuff, but there definitely are some good ones out there. Still waiting for those prototypes we got at BrickCon last year to be available (havoc blade, etc). Those were some of my favorites I've ever seen.

Agree! They had some amazing stuff with great possibilities. I have been waiting for weapon packs from them ever since.

Thanks. I didn't have the background planned until after the picture, but I agree, a lit torch would have added to the coolness.

Thanks. The Dragon Sword in the right hands can really set the tone and mood of the character.

Thanks for the comments and feedback. The Horned Plated Armor does really go nice with the helmet......and Vambraces, and Dragon Sword, and Double Plume  . If you flirt with the thought of buying 3rd party items, don't hesitate and you won't regret it. Keep in mind that the creators of 3rd party items are all fans of the hobby too. I was on the fence about 3rd party stuff also, but after my first BrickForge purchase, I have no regrets. Check out BrickForge first. With about 176 products and a color palette of approximately 46 to choose from, you're sure to get the best items available to build something unique and special.....that also fits in perfectly with your normal Lego.

I love the armor and vambraces. Great pieces for a dark knight.
