LCC - Outlaws - GC2/Part 2 - "The Guardian"

Post by Highwayman »

This is my second and final entry into the LCC's latest global challenge. I tried some forced perspective with this build and I'm pleased with the results!

Arlis Wolfstar has located the fabled sword of Karlamac high atop the mountains. The only thing stopping him from taking the sword and claiming the reward is the Guardian, a relic of the past sworn to protect the sword with its life. Will Arlis be successful in his struggle with the Guardian? Please be sure to check out the full story HERE.

Nice forced perspective, though the minifig statue must be huge :o
The guardian legs are interesting as well

Hm! I didn't even realize that the FP portion of the MOC was the same as the battle with the Guardian. Nice job!

Cool, your story for this is the nut cracker  really well written and intresting. Also the moc is great, like the action and the perspective of being in a high place.
Great job

Thanks for the comments! :D

@soccerkid6: It's definitely a HUGE statue! I describe the size briefly in my accompanying tale.

@AK: Thanks! So glad you enjoyed both the MOC and the story.

@mencot: Thanks for reading! I'd seen other people build scenes in high places that employed FP to really great effect and I wanted to give it a try. I think posing the figs and tying the pictures into the story were my favorite parts!
