Re: Dawn Rock Castle
Hey LL,
This is your best yet! Definitely in your aesthetic, but you can see the growth in skill from your earliest castles. I really like the way you gave a couple of hints of different colors with the timber frame portion above the gate and the portion built of tan stone (presumably built at a different era than the curtain walls), also the hints of texture with the brick bricks are nice. Nice shaping with the hinged sections and also the little buttresses. Great work all around.

This is spectacular! The gatehouse is cool, and the size of this is also stunning.

Re: Dawn Rock Castle
Beautiful castle! The size is impressive and the wall decorations work nicely, and the rounded parts are great. I like that you made the walls plenty tall enough to be realistic as well.
Excellent work all around

Wow! This is stunning! Your other castles have been good, but this trumps them all.

Very well built & imposing. I'd respect the Crown if I ran into this castle. The level of detail is superb.

Wow that's absolutely gorgeous! The view in that top picture rocks. The curved tan section is just great! This is definitely your best and biggest yet! I'm pretty blown away! I had no idea you had the pieces for that! I've always thought of you as my favorite smaller castle builder but now you're going to become one of my favorite big castle builders too! Great work!

That castle is a fantastic piece of work, I bet your spent too many hours to count to build it
Re: Dawn Rock Castle
Awesome, I hope to aquire enough bricks for a build like this some day.

Re: Dawn Rock Castle
Very impressive. It seems intimidating to me to undertake a "realistic" MOC of this scale, not just because of the number of bricks required, but the time, the inspiration, the design ideas, the integration of all the different aspects into a coherent whole. I salute the crown.
