WARHAMMER?
Re: WARHAMMER?
Yep! I do prefer the warhammer figs, but they are grossly overpriced in my opinion. Especially since I look at painting as annoying work.
This also works well with D&D - it can add a lot of life for a nice price.

Yes it is true. The post I made 5, repeat, FIVE years ago is true, I have never heard of warhammer. And of course, with the passing 1861 days since I said it, it is of course still completely true, and not at all likely to have changed.moose wrote:NEVER HERD OF WARHAMMER??????? Oh wait, you meant, I have never herd of warhammer. This is also true. I have never owned a herd of warhammers, nor have I have I ever helped herd a herd of warhammers. Truth be told, I've never even seen a herd of warhammers. Though a friend of mine keeps wanting me to come down to his ranch someday and take a look. Maybe I will. Your post has inspired me to! You know what, this weekend I'm going to go down there, saddle up my warcraft and help round up the warhammers. Thanks!

Re: WARHAMMER?
This is too cool.
My friend and I avid WHFB players and lego collectors just started our "legohammer" adventure.
We took the WHFBrules build our own units applied stats and weapon stats to them...added abilities, tweeked the hero build and we just had our first game of lego hammer this past weekend.
everything plays liek WHFB...we just made it a unit draft type army build so u can have different races on the same team. used lego structures as terrain and went to town.
see link for all the battle pics and the unit pics:

Re: WARHAMMER?
I too am a huge Warhammer fan, though I have to admit I'm into 40K myself.
Although I've never actually played WHFB, I have witnessed a lot of games, and can definitely see how you can play it with Lego, your pictures look just right for any WH game, monte_kev.
I've always found that both WHFB and WH40K are very good sources of inspiration for LEGO building as well. I've tried my hand at a Necron Heavy Destroyer from 40K quite a while ago, and plan to build more Warhammer MOCs if time will let me (though admittedly they will be 40K and FB )

Re: WARHAMMER?
tis an interesting concept to try it with lego figs! Ive a 40k Black templar army with grey knights, assault marines, assault terminators and marines squadrons with a venerable dreadnaught while i have a Full Empire army for normal warhammer. Havnt bought any in a while though, been more interested in their books like the horus heresy series, space wolves, soul drinkers and grey knights omnibus'

^^ Way to dig up a 2 1/2 yr old thread there, richard. lol.
Re: WARHAMMER?
From what my experience on various forums and bulletin board systems has taught me, necro-ing a thread is A-OKAY so long as the post being made is relevant and helpful to the discussion. In this case, I think it's alright. (but who am I to judge? )AK_Brickster wrote:^^ Way to dig up a 2 1/2 yr old thread there, richard. lol.
