The OTHER 2012 Lego Castle

I picked this up with the TRU B2GO deal. I started putting it together and am about halfway done. I'm trying to pace myself lately. So far, I've not been impressed. I really don't like the octagonal plates and this set uses a bunch of them. The backend of the car is silly and not well done. And so far the castle structure has not been very inspired.

Maybe I shouldn't have followed up Helms Deep with this one. Helms Deep was an outstanding set, so maybe I'm being unfair.

But, if you're trying to choose between Helms Deep and this set, spend the extra $20 and get Helms Deep. It was much better.

The castle does look kinda cool.It also comes with pretty good figs.
