Where are the global points posted, by the way? I can't find them.

Ladies and gentleman its time for LC7.

This time I will host and judge the local challenge.

"The land of Garheim is a vast and wild expanse, with much of the country uninhabited and poorly mapped. In order to avoid becoming lost in the wilderness, Garhims learn at a young age to make use of landmarks, both natural and man-made, to help guide them on their journeys."

Requirements: The MOC should have the following
- Your character hiking through the land of Garheim and stops at an impressive landmark.
- The Garhim standard.
- The build must be on a base at least 16x16 in size (but I hope there will be BIGGER ones).

There is also a draw. The winner gets 2 extra points for discovering an unknown landmark. And I will send you one of my "Garheim map 2x2 tiles"
Image

Deadline: UTC + 1 (Central European Time) 6.00 AM, October 8th.

Any questions can be asked in this thread or PMed to me (konze). Entries should be submitted in the main CC MOC Forum, with the title "LCC - Garheim LC7- YourMOCName"
Pleas post a thumbnail of your entry in this thread, too.

Scoring:
Everyone will get 3 points for entering
+5 extra points for the winner.
+2 extra points for runner up
+2 extra points for discovering an unknown landmark + one of my Garheim map 2x2 tiles.

Sounds awesome- going to start tomorrow! :)

Presumably an unknown landmark will be one not featured already on the map?

Yes, you're right. Look at our Garheim map, there are only a few cities and names for the regions. Feel free to contribute something new.

I think it is better you put all your efforts into one bigger MOC.

Does the winning entry become 'canon' to the map/mythology at all?

Wondering how small/big to make my entry. :)

I see no reason why the winning entry can't be added to the regional map :)

Thanks for hosting this, Konze! I'm very busy getting ready for BrickCon, but I really want one of those map tiles, so maybe I'll see if I can get an entry put together
