Colour of visors of set 0015

Post by Fenneke-Jose »

Hi,

I am trying to collect set 0015, by buying the seperate minifigs. As I have understood, these minifigs also are in set 383/6083 and 677/6077.

Now the funny thing I noticed, that in set 383/6083 the visor of the blue knight is red and the visor of the red knight is black. However in this set it is exactly the opposite! I have seen the catalog picture on BL, so I guess that is correct, but maybe it was a mistake of Lego?

Several collectors believe that these figures were the way that LEGO cleared out additional figures to prepare for the new castle line in 1984. The sales/art direction staff in North America may have reversed the visors to add variety to the minifigure pack.

I was able to get 0015 as a child and always preferred the black visor with the blue torso and the red visor with the red arms and legs. I even display my copy of 6083 with those visor/torso combinations.
