LCC - Garheim LC8 - The Krokrslenta
On the way back to Havenhill and Kroth, his squire Lanseril and the architect that was returning with them from Mikithdar needed to camp for the night. As the sunset, the group made camp and had some dinner. After dinner, Kroth begun to spin a tale. “Few people know that up in great white north, up in the Spearheads that magic works just like it does in the Shade. During a particularly hot summer day, the weather was not very different from tonight when a powerful wizard summoned a demon from the frozen pits beyond. This horrible creature stands as tall as two men. It has a white and grey face, with not only a full set of teeth, but a set of black mandibles help him to eat his prey even faster. The mandibles drip with a poison that will cause blood to boil and give the creature its name - The Krokrslenta. When the creature is about to strike, a huge blue and white shield is pushed out from the relaxed position around his neck and back and fans out around almost looking like a lion’s mane that is made out of bone and magic. The creature’s mane is solid when out and can be used as a weapon knocking an unprepared foe to the ground. Some say that you can sometimes hear the howl of the creature in the wind. Not the wind itself, but an elusive howl that you can almost make out in the distance.”

Finally some competition I thought I was going to be the only one to enter
Enough of that, I like the story and creature quite a bit, the story is short but it still reads well,
and the Krokrslenta sure looks like something to be scared of.
