When Sir Angus was fifteen, Garheim recived one of the earliest and worst winters on record. The gigantic blizzard froze berry bushes and solidified lakes and streams alike. And the great cave bears in the mountains of Garheim couldn't find enough food for the winter, so they sought it elsewhere... by tearing apart houses and devoring the inhabitants, ruining crops and livestock, and on occasion, hunting in packs.
The villages bordering the mountians rose up to drive away the horrible, grizzly invaders!
And bear hunts such as these were common during that terrible year...

Excellent rock and snowscaping. Not sure about the trees though, shouldn't the leaves have fallen by now
Great work on the bear and fig posing as well

I really like the trees. Not that uncommon for an early snowstorm to result in snow covered trees that haven't dropped all of their fall leaves yet.
The thing least plausible about this is that there is a giant hollow rock popping out of the middle of the ground. Would make more sense if it was part of a bigger hillside or cliff face
Great scene and a very good entry, Bro Steven.
