CCCX Forest Life - No Hunting the Bears!

Post by shmails »

This is an entry into the CCCX Forest Life Category

NO HUNTING THE BEARS!

A group of knights decided that it would be fun to blow off some steam by hunting a bear in the forests at the foot of the Shades Mountains. Unfortunately for them, they were not aware that these bears are protected by the BCC. The Bear Claw men followed the hunters until they were sure what they were doing, then they sprang from the forest just in time to save the bear, who is only looking for some food along the stream.

In the first pic in this thread, I like how the rock layers continue from the river to the edges of the creation. That is nice detailing, but easy to overlook. I also like your technique to make the stream running downhill without a massive waterfall. It may be something I will have to try in the future, because it looks excellent!
You would rather be building right now.

Beautiful rock work around the river, looks very realistic. The trees, river, and figs are all great too!
I really enjoyed seeing your entries last year and am looking forward to all you produce this time around :D

The rocks look really nice. The all-SNOT effect works perfectly.
