More LOTR please!

Post by timber_wolf899 »

There is so much more of Middle Earth to cover!

I'd like more buildings, castles, landscapes, monsters, lairs, and epic battles!

Does anyone know whether/not there is any word on a second wave?

Happening next year. Between 3-6 sets apparently, the smallest/lowest being a Frodo vs Ringwraith set.

Very interesting. Obviously i'm pulling for a number closer to six than three.

Where did you glean this info?
Also has there been anything made public regarding sales figures for the first wave? I ask as that data will most likely have a lot to do with whether/not we have LOTR long term.
thanks again.

I have not heard sales to date, but I would guess that when the Hobit movie come out it will drive sales for the whole line.

Those look like really great sets. Looks like it's going to be another expensive year for Lego.... :P
