CCC X - Diego and the Multi-Colored Tunnel of Doom.

Post by nanuck95 »

Diego wanted to go on an adventure. His friend Dora warned him not to go through the multi-colored tunnel of doom as there were ferocious animals who lived there. Diego went anyway with his trusty axe and meat shield. Once he got there, he realized maybe the meat shield wasn't such a good idea. Built for the "Ill Advised Journey" category.

Ok, so I'm not really entering this into the contest, I built this for my son last night and thought maybe throwing a light-hearted, mock entry out there would give someone a chuckle or two. Enjoy!

Well, this gave me a chuckle! Nice work. May want to work on color-cordnating your builds though... ;D

Well, since Diego is the animal expert, I'm sure he'll be fine. ;-)

I'm glad I'm not the only one with way too many Dora and Diego figures. --- Though now that I look it isn't even really Diego. So -- you want me to send you some?

We seem to be (thankfully) out of the Dora stage. Otherwise I'd be jumping in on this offer. Now, if they just had some Jake and the Neverland Pirates sets ...

Truth be told, we're pretty much out of the Dora stage, too. But -- you never know when a random Dora or Diego figure might come in handy. There are no bad LEGO pieces, right? I'm sure we can fit Boots and Winnie the Pooh into a castle build somehow! :D

Yeah, it's not really Diego, just looks like him. Honestly, I'm not a big Dora and Diego fan, although I'll take them any day over SpongeBob.

My son is just starting to really get into Duplo and plays with them more than any of his other toys. What I find really interesting is he seems to like the old-school Duplo block-figures from the 80's and train cars more than the newer fancier figures and elements.
