We like to see a banner either in the MOC or built into the baseplate, but ultimately that decision is up to each faction's overseer. Some MOCs simply won't accommodate a "normal" banner, so it's open to interpretation. The main point was to build faction identity and unity by building under the same flag. :)

ZacharyIslazy wrote:So, I have another question. It says to include your faction color(s) in the builds. Does this mean in the way of banners, or can we just include the color as part of the build.

For example, my faction color is black, so instead of the banner, I would have black helmet, walls, decoration, armor, book, dragon, or even a pet?
I'm fine with that, just so long as there's enough black that its obvious that it's there color :)

Hello everyone,
I just joined CC forums and I was wondering if the Lands of Classic Castle was still open. I've been reading a into it and it really interested me and I'd like to join. It is too late for me?

With the CCC starting, do we have guidelines for cross-submission of MOCs for CCC and LCC?

Q1: When building a MOC for the CCC with LCC in mind (using faction colours, ...), can we also submit it as a free build to LCC once it is approved as a CCC entry
Q2: Many of the Guild Challenges fit perfectly with the CCC categories, it would be a shame if we had to choose whether to build something for e.g. the Masons Guild or a CCC category, since most Guild challenges fit into at least one CCC category... This would leave LCC and guilds in particular dead for two months until the CCC crazyness is over

I think we should allow any build to be in both CCC and LCC.

We want as many as possible to enter CCC, but we don't wanna see LCC dead for two months.

Just remember to enter CCC first :-)

In the General info and FAQ thread this was discussed a while ago: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=21649&start=375 scroll down a bit , But this is what Josh answered:
JoshWedin wrote:Hey All,

There won't be an LCC-exclusive category in the CCC, as it would exclude CC members who aren't in LCC. But I don't see any reason that your CCC entries can't be used in the LCC...as long as they are entered in the CCC first. ;) (The CCC rules usually state that entries have to be new, so builds would need to be entered in the CCC before being entered in the LCC).

Josh
So that pretty much answers the question :D

No it doesn't.This covers the CCC side of things, I was asking specifically in the LCC thread to get an answer for the LCC side... will CCC MOCs be counted towards LCC freebuilds, Guild builds or local/global challenges (should there be any in the next months)?

Mitah is correct. I only speak for the CCC, not for the LCC. The King's Council would have to weigh in on that.

This is currently under discussion by the KC. But in my opinion, I don't really see a problem with that.

On a entirely different note: am I allowed to incorporate some sort of zeppelin-based vehicle? I mean I'll make sure it stays within medieval technology, but I have an awesome idea for it, and was wondering if that was allowed. An airship if u will, like this:

If not, I'll incorporate it with some other build ;)

(I posted this in the FAQ thread and realized it doesn't really belong there...)

This might be a little bit of a stretch in my opinion. I would say no, offhand. I'll discuss with the other FO's though.

Welcome to CC and the LCC! I am, however, rooting for the outlaws. ;)

Josh
Thank you! Rooting for the outlaws eh? It is a struggle that the outlaws are slowly losing. Slowly...

Edit: Oops, sorry I'll just move this over here. :)

I have a question regarding a MOC I'm making for LCC. I'm curios if my MOC can have a stationary steam engine for pumping and heating water around a castle?

Negative. LCC is not friendly to "steam punk" type MOCs, as decided by the community. Sorry :)
