CCCX Winter Scene - One Slip

Post by shmails »

This is an entry into the CCCX Winter Scene category:

ONE SLIP

Trying to navigate Devil's Pass in good weather is a slippery slope, but when a group of BCC warriors tried to get through right after an early winter storm, the trip became treacherous.

One of the warriors slipped at the corner of the pass. As he held on for dear life, the other men backed a horse to the edge to pull him back up. Unfortunately the horse could not get any traction, and the day turned from bad to worse very quickly!

Very awesome effect with the impact on the icy pond. Certainly gives a great sense of movement!

That technique is like one of the best and clever I have seen in awhile. CCC certainly brings out all kinds of cool ideas :D
Also the falling poses look really good, especially the horse and the guy hanging from the rope. Top entry shamils
