Oh dear... oh dear...

I *love* that tree shield. LOVE it. I want a 1001 of them--no, I want them all!

(And, for that matter, the fig herself is a nice one--and the knight too.)

The forest maiden
Awesome design on this fig, totally love it all :D
andhe wrote: And the heroic knight (crownies for the win!)
Interesting that they used the new greatsword (?) Appeared in some of the Kingdoms Chess Sets I believe.
Not so good as first thought but awesome any way, good that it was a real broadsword and not the gladius that it looked like in the preview image
The thing that bothers me the most about this guy is, he is too gray and silver, he looks like a statue! :o some more color, like a bit of pearl gold would have brighten him some. But the crownie silver knight goes well with the crownie gold knight

Yea I know what you guys mean, I think that is the best fig from this series, also the fortune teller looks awesome (not keen on the subject she represents) but the fig is so useable as a female medieval person. But the forest maiden she will be a rare one, only 2 per box, whats up with that and 6 of knights and cyclops figs
But definitly the best series so far and probably the first series I will try to buy a whole box of

Really, they could still be a separate faction if you wanted. I'm sure there were plenty of rival powers who shared similarities in their sigils, historically speaking.

Or, I guess these guys could be some sort of elite guard for the Crownies :)

Watch out though, the Judge's hair might be rubbery as well. Per usual, the "dress" slope piece will probably be one of the most useful ways of singling out the lady-figs (gypsy as well) and then you can feel for the shield or bow to pick out the "forestbabe"

Series 9. The front row of 4 female minifigs look great. I think the forest maiden might be one of the best looking minifigs I have seen in quite some time. I hope that hairstyle becomes available in more colors. I love being able to get the mermaid hair in that color, and the fortune teller is also a very good looking minifig. I'll be looking to give her a BF violin. The alien avenger looks great and that head can make some great fantasy monsters. Mr. Good & Evil looks great too. Some parts that are great are the roller derby girl skates and the judges wig. I wish the knight's face was better, and not sure I like the cyclops color choice, but overall, this is a very good series.

Edit: Just realized the horn and teeth on the Cyclops. That looks better than what I thought was a goofy shaped head with a duckbill looking face.

It's definitely the strongest castle-compatible line-up yet.

I'll be sick if I end up with multiple roller-girls or battlemechs-both seem pretty useless and the weakest of the line-up.

I really really wish they would have gone with a new emblem for the Knight's shield. The boar's head was great on the Black Knight. A Swan, Tower, armored fist, raven, shell, or any traditional divided geometrical pattern would have far, far more welcome than a gray tones version of the tired old crown.

I think this is my favorite batch yet. I want all of them except the plumber, cop, and roller derby girl. And even the plumber's plunger will be a welcome addition to my collection of household implements, should I happen to get him. (I don't tend to search for desired figures in the bags; I enjoy the uncertainty.)

A love that they used genuine Tarot card designs for the gypsy. That's something I would never have expected. If the mysticism bothers anyone, I'll be happy to take the cards off your hands! :D

The case distribution is bent toward army building the Castle hero/villain the Space hero/villain and the City Cop, but I would like to see more of the figures represented above two per case. The sort time looking for those that are lower in representation makes it better to just buy a whole case.

Just wanted to let everyone know that these have showed up in the Lego stores in the Seattle area. Fraslund and I snatched up quite a few of the castle figs yesterday. For me, I got 3 knights, 2 maidens, 2 cyclops, and one Fortune teller (to be a peasant once I replace the hair).

It seems that a good way to search for the maiden is to just do a fast pre-sort grabbing anything w/ a dress slope and then feel for her squishy hair. Actress has small hair and the statue is a give-away. For the fortune teller, just give the packet a shake and then feel for the tarot card tiles that should slide to the bottom.

As usual, the knight is easy to find because his armor "squishes" a little, and you can verify w/ his shield or visor.

The cyclops has a very easily distinguishable point from the horn on the top of his headpiece/"helmet" or the club is a dead giveaway.

Happy hunting!

Hey...I forgot to mention something in regards to the figs...they will be reboxed. I'm not sure which series but they will be in boxes of 30..with one of each type and then 14 extras.

Please don't attack the message giver...she just is an ambassador with some info to share.

You have my favoriute four from the series right here, although with this picture I am not so sure I want the cyclops anymore. IMHO it looks too cartoony when next to the other castle-y figs. A more sinister cyclops would be a great army builder.

Has anyone done a count regarding the distribution of each per case?

I think I caught in some earlier posts saying there were six Heroic Knights per case and only two and such of everything else. Can anyone else confirm or add to that?

This series is fantastic, though. I would have liked a new emblem for the Knight, but he'll add another element to my Crown Knights.

The Roman Emperor? :twitch: I love it. Cannot wait to see confirmed images of the Roman Commander in future lines. The Forest Maiden and Fortune Teller are also great. I'm hoping to get my hands on some of these from somewhere online at a decent price. But, I am considering purchasing a case if the distribution of the ones I like is favorable.
