I'd be happy to do that, but then you'd go back on the naughty list for over large photos. I took the liberty of letting through some entries that only had one photo anyway by deeplinking to the photo of the correct size. Let me know what you'd rather I do.

ACPin-Viking Whaling Outpost - I'm pretty sure this is over the 32x64 or 48x48 footprint.
I used one 16x32 and twelve 8x16 baseplates which all add up to the specified limits for the footprint.

I still see my entry in the Miscellaneous category.

The rules state:
That means that in the categories other than misc and castle the entry should be able to sit down on top of a 32x64 rectangle or a 48x48 square, not that they should have 2048 or 2304 studs worth of footprint. All entries should fit on 2 connected 32x32 baseplates or smaller unless stated otherwise in that category's rules. You may use a single 48x48 plate for your entry instead of the two 32x32 plates.

Maybe try to save the re-sized image under a different name and then re-upload it. I came across this problem at work a week or 2 ago and it didn't recognize the size change until I named the file something different. Hope that helps. It seems I am not the only one, how to get it right?

Hey Bruce,
It has come to my attention that I mistakenly used two Altbrick pieces in my second "daring escape" entry.
I've created a new build that contains no Altrbricks. So if it's all right with you guys, I'd like to resubmit.

Re: Naughty list - updated 12/26/2012
Hello Burce,
Quite a few weeks back I submitted an entry with the title CCCX Ambushed in the Woods with the description "Althalios is still on the hunt looking for whatever secret his father's map holds. Now he is traveling on the outskirts of Samavia, in the ol' Woods, looking for that secret that almost seems impossible to find. When in a blink of an eye, he is ambushed by five highwaymen who are ruthless and savage for blood. Whoever told him to come through these forbidden paths for sure gave him "An Ill Advised Journey".". I thought I posted it to the "An Ill Advised Journey" category but it some how ended up in the "Miscellaneous" category with out the description that I clearly remember putting on when I submitted my entry. I was wondering if you could please move this entry (CCCX Ambushed in the Woods) out of the Miscellaneous category and move it into the "An Ill Advised Journey" category.
Thank you in advance!
-Justin

For some reason, the description of my Daring Escape entry was cut off, so I'd like to resubmit/replace it with a full description, if that's ok.

Justin, I fixed the description, but as noted in the first post of this thread, that entry was shifted to misc due to the use of custom elements.Justin M wrote:Hello Burce,

Fixed. For you and for others with this problem, I think the issue is with the use of quotation marks. Our entry form code doesn't like those. So I removed the quotation marks from your entry and the description seems to show up now.Ryclen wrote:For some reason, the description of my Daring Escape entry was cut off, so I'd like to resubmit/replace it with a full description, if that's ok.

Re: Naughty list - updated 12/29/2012
I fixed the size of my picture and re-entered my Attack-of-the-Kraken-MOC. It now has a deeplink to Brickshelf, rather then Flickr.
While fixing that I got kind of frustrated that the CCC doesn't really give you the chance to build something that moves. I mean, you can (and it has been done in the past), but you'll have to show it in a picture and not in a video. This year I built something that has movement in it, but I'm afraid that the jury won't judge that, simply because the rules won't let me show it. That's a shame, the amount of MOCs that have some sort of movement, PF or NXT is growing and the CCC could stimulate people to integrate movement in Castle-MOCs too. Which could be a great improvement for the theme, especially on events or displays.
Anyway, it's just an idea, not a complaint.
