Tradition... got to love it.... posting here about our Christmas Goodies.

My wife and I got a Cars 2 Flo's V8 cafe (joint gift to ourselves)
My wife bought me a Recycling Truck (the set with the recycling bins, the small truck, and the small forklift)
I got my wife Riddle of the Ring because she likes Gollum....

"My PRECIOUS"

That makes her have 2, because she got the other Gollum from the LOTR set.

My girlfriend got me a LEGO cup with curly straw, Minifigure ice tray, Riddles for the Ring, and Olivia's Invention Workshop. Great assortment of parts. My best friend ALSO got me a copy of Riddles for the Ring. My mom got me a copy of Riddles for the Ring (I love duplicate sets, and the rings & Sting are loved!) as well as An Unexpected Gathering.

I haven't left for my Aunt's where I see the rest of my family, so there certainly could be more LEGO goodness to be had! Merry Christmas guys!

My sister gave me the Monster Fighters Vampire Hearse and the Star Wars mini-planet Tatooine set.* My mom gave me a LEGO Shop gift card. This is the first year anyone in my family has remembered to give me LEGO for Christmas. I'm happy.

* My interest in this set is rather specific. I've been working on a series of Disneyland-themed models, and for the Tomorrowland one I wanted an alien planet to hang in the sky.

Got 2 copies of Uruk-hai Army with a third one coming up. Yes, I went the army builder way this year, but what can I say, that set really -is- recommendable

Fairly light haul this year: mummy, desert skiff and tattooine planet set. Did get some money too, to hit up the after Xmas sales...

My wife and I bought a little coffee table from IKEA and put a Duplo baseplate on it for my son to play on. I also picked up some Dulpo bricks and train cars off bricklink for him. So far he really likes driving the cars on the "road" around the baseplate. Fun times. :)

My wife got me the Hobbit "Barrel Escape" and "Attack of the Wargs" (my 2nd copy - warg pack, incoming! )
My mom and sister-in-laws got me $115 worth of TLG gift cards, and I got $200 cash from my mother-in-law and a $500 bonus from work, so there will be more Lego in my future, for sure! :D

I've managed to "hook" my 5 and 7-yr old nieces on the Friends theme, so they got probably a dozen large/medium/small/polybag sets between their parents, grandparents, and my wife and I.
I imagine that their mother will be thankful for the 2-3 days it's going to take them to build it all! :snore:
I also got them a small PAB cup of 1x4 pink bricks.

Merry Christmas, everyone! It is fun to read what everyone else got/gave

Okay, let's see. LEGO wise I got two Riddles for the Ring, Escape from Mirkwood Spiders, The Mummy (The Monster Fighters set), Catwomen Catcycle City Chase, three Series Eight Minifigure Packs (two Santa Clauses and one Evil Robot guy). Non LEGO wise I got some cloths and a few random things. A good amount of money and gift cards, which means more LEGO (:D) and that pretty much wraps it up. Hope everyone else had a great Christmas and got plenty of LEGO, too. :)

I got "Attack of the Wargs" x2
It really is a beautiful set full of great parts, not to mention the awesome wargs!
You would rather be building right now.

Great to see people giving as well as getting! :)

This year I bought the three big LOTR sets for myself -Helm/Moria/Weathertop- as a treat and because normally I don't get much in the way of Lego.
I gave one of the Minecraft sets for one of my friends and I received one in return from another :)
I gave the current City fishing boat for a secretsanta on another forum as it reminded him of one he had when he was younger.
I gave a Thor polybag to one of my friends and a Spider-Man keyring to another
I received the Batman/Catwoman chase from my secretsanta
I received the City mining 4x4 from my sister

Lots of Lego all round basically!

Thanks to the fact that my new in-laws all know I like LEGO, I enjoyed a pretty good LEGO haul.

8833 Series 8 (The Football Player)
8833 Series 8 (The DJ) - both new too my collection--the Football player is especially timely
3931 Emma's Splash Pool - my first Friends set
9476 The Orc Forge
30213 [Gandalf the Grey]
79000 Riddles for the Ring
79001 Escape from Mirkwood Spiders - all of which are welcome, first time, additions to my Tolkien collection

And I got a little bit of spending money that, no doubt, will end up turning into LEGO as well.
