CCCX Ras-al-Jabar

This story tells us a tale of a gorgeous and rich land now buried under the sands,

Ras-al-Jabar

"An old castle called Ras-al-Jabar was built hundreds of years ago by Emir of
Rabaat in the southern realm of Mamlakat. The Salam river
runs through these lands and it is the main source of fresh water and
fish. Ras-al-Jabar is the center of trade and learning. Markets impress
everyone by rich variety of products from all over the world.
Ras-al-Jabar's library is still the largest in the southern region.
This castle provided safety and defence to the whole land.
But its greatness fell when The Dark times began..."

One of the most jaw dropping castle builds I've ever seen  You captured the Eastern architecture perfectly :D

Phenomenal.

The angles you've worked into this are great, as are all the details that really bring this to life (assassins on the roof!). The stone architecture reminds me a bit of the dwarven architecture in Skyrim for some reason. Really awesome MOC.

Some of the best eastern architecture I've ever seen! The sheer size is also most impressive!

Well done and good luck! :)

This really has an Eastern architecture feel! I think it's pretty safe to say that you probably have the Miscellaneous category in the bag. :D

I was really praying this would be in the misc category because now it looks like I'm not going to have much of a chance of winning the castle category anymore :P this this is just awesomely awesome.

Yep, a quite astonishing build! Great job working all sorts of different domes into the build.
You would rather be building right now.

I love this build. I imagine the castle extends to the back and right and the bazaar continues off into the distance? ...so many details to take in. This is really great.

Beautifully done!

I sometimes wonder, when on Earth will LEGO ever make a Castle theme with a Middle Eastern style? I mean, just look at what fans can make!

You should send pics of this MOC to the LEGO design team, just to give them some ideas of what is possible with a Middle Eastern Castle theme!
