Daydelon Castle

Post by soccerkid6 »

Home of my fig in GoH, all the doors/trapdoors work and all the buildings have full interiors:

Looks great at first glance! Can't wait to dive into the detail pics! :D

EDIT: Wow, you did a great job on that! I love the bunks, in particular. They are so nice and tidy.

I'd be interested to see a detail of the "new" technique you described. I'm a little fuzzy on what you were talking about.

@Ak_Brickster: Thanks! Hope you enjoy the other pics as much :)

@Forestboy: Thanks, I think far too many builders forego interiors 8)

Wow, incredible castle. Nice job mixing in the snow with the grass, it really looks like Spring is coming. :)

Great job soccerkid! :D
The round towers are great and I like how they fit snug against the castle walls. The stables inside is a nice touch and I think you did good on the interior as well! Keep up the good work! :)

Very nice castle indeed. Love it that there is working interior made all over the castle. The towers and the detail on them are nice also
Awesome job on this

Great work! You've put a lot of thought into the architectural details (cornering, archways etc) and wall texturing, which is really nice to see. I love that you've put interiors, though I wouldn't like to sleep on the bunk bed over the hatch, looks a bit precarious! :D

Excellent stuff. Thanks for sharing.

@Justin M: Thanks, spring or early snow one of the two

@friskywhiskers: Thanks! I'm quite fond of it myself, not looking forward to disassembling it...

@Sir Ronald: Thank you, I've used that tower technique twice before but this was the first time setting the whole tower at an angle. Glad you like the stables :)

@mencot: Thanks! Putting interiors in every building is a bit of a pain, but worth it to me :)

@Captain BeerBeard: Thanks, I'll try :D

@andhe: Thank you! Glad you noticed a lot of the details, and I wouldn't want to sleep there either, I've fallen out of bunk-beds before but falling down stairs at the same time wouldn't be fun

Nice build SK! Like how you've included an interior.
