LCC - GC3 Phase 1 -The Stirrings of War...

Here is my entry to the LCC Global Challenge three Phase 1. I am quite proud of how this turned out, especially the photographs. Full spectrum lighting with poster board is definitely the way to go!

War is upon Lenfald! The three factions of Roawia have formed together in a powerful coalition, and have sworn to scourge the land of the evils of Sorcery! Governor Aethand of Bladefall has called once more upon his trusted friend Sir Edwyn; bestowing upon him the task of constructing mighty siege weapons for the forces of Lenfald. Fine timber is being shipped downstream from the capital, where Sir Edwyn and his engineers use it to construct a magnificent machine of destruction: The Trebuchet!

Enjoy! C&C Welcome! :)

Very nicely done! The way you've done the trebuchet frame very effectively.

I like the little stream! My favorite part is that awesome trebuchet gram you put together!

Thank you. I find that water effectively breaks up the monotony of a grassy landscape and adds much beauty.

I really like this MOC. You picked a good stage of construction in which the form is easily identifiable, but there is still plenty of work to be done.

Also, you might consider adding some sort of device to catch the logs with next time (rope, pitchfork, a row of rocks placed in the water, etc). Have you ever tried reaching out into a river with your bare hands to haul out a log as it passes by? Sounds like a good way to get wet, I'd venture to bet! ;)

Keep up the good work!

Great work on the frame man! Maybe I'll try that tree technique sometime...
And nice job on the grass/landscape too. :)
