LCC - G3 - Phase Two - One against Fifty
Hey All,
Here is my "Phase Two" entry for the current Global Challenge in LCC.
My Orc Champion, Frabjous Gruntbuggly, is slaying a group of Garheim soldiers that he stumbled across. Since there were only fifty of them, he decided to mop them up on his own. It would have been a waste of time to call for backup...

On a technical note, there are exactly fifty soldiers suspended around the Orc. Less than a dozen of them are touching the ground and there is no support structure for any of them except the Orc. It really was a fun build.
Enjoy!

This is a great example of why my character isn't a soldier
The posing is superb and I love the expressions on the Garheim soldiers

LO-freakin-L!
Reminds me of that Matrix scene when Neo blasts all those agents away from him (2nd movie?). Also, impressive use of the weapons and such to hold all those guys up in the air like that. How many times did they succumb to gravity before the picture taking?

Brilliant! This reminds me of a bunch of one stud fig-pileups that were all over the place a few years ago.

I know he is an evil orc, but I kinda like Frabjous! This is a really cool build!

Thank you! Actually they never fell down. The whole setup is fairly sturdy. I wouldn't go throwing it around the room but it only wobbles a bit when I move it.mrcp6d wrote:LO-freakin-L! Thanks! The "one stud" battles were actually my inspiration for this. I figured it was time to dust off that technique again.LettuceBrick wrote:Brilliant! This reminds me of a bunch of one stud fig-pileups that were all over the place a few years ago.
Thank you! But Frabjous isn't an evil Orc. He is merely defending the lands of his friends. After all, who is doing the invading?Eklund wrote:I know he is an evil orc, but I kinda like Frabjous! This is a really cool build!

Aha! So I'm not the only one who noticed similarities between Lewis Carroll and Vogon poetry.
