The Haunted Forest (Part 1)

Post by Athos »

I've decided to do up a large display type MOC, with different 32x32 modules. This isn't actually my first (I've got a mideast village) but that one isn't finished and I needed a change of pace. So I decided to do up a Monster Fighter themed set up. Here is the first module:

Interesting that the tentacled thingy seems to have had people sacrificed to it - that's an interesting twist on the subject.

Well, the twist is... it was going to be a dragon initially (one of the two from the Crown Knight sets), but when I put the dragon in the cave, he just looked goofy. And, as I dug through my box of animals, I couldn't find my Basilisk or any of the Viking Dragons, only a bunch of tentacles, it just kind of came about. I left the sacrifice post in because I thought it was creepier that way...

Very cool and very creepy! As has already been mentioned, the sacrificial pole is pretty cool

Scary monster and the vultures look great. Nice rockwork too :)

I agree about the creepiness of the pole, and the tentacles make it even creepier, especially since they are, perhaps, unexpected coming out of a cave. I also like the birds, waiting for another victim to come and provide them a meal.
