New sword in 10223 Kingdoms Joust?

Post by 6086ftw »

While i dont know if this is anything worth mentioning but recently when opening my 10223 kingdoms joust..i noticed the black falcon knight having a dark metallic grey version of the new sword (heroic knight) issued in the 9th minifig series..while clearly it should have been a regular classic sword.

Anyone else with similar findings, also i wasnt aware of this version of that particular sword, so if anyone could confirm if it actually has been released yet or not.

Kind reards

It showed up in some of the Kingdoms chess sets as well, though I don't know if anyone has mentioned having it in dark pearl gray so that's pretty cool! :D

Yeah there a discussion here viewtopic.php?f=2&t=22092&p=250803#p250803 about the new style short sword. And it seems to be the new standard short sword following early appearances in the Kingdoms chess set and the series 9 heroic knight.

If they're changed the moulds for all future sword it would make sense, but surely they're not still producing the Kingdoms joust set (by that I mean making it recently in the factory. I'm aware that it is still available to buy, but guessed that theses copies would have been made a while ago).

Can you take a picture?

Stuff happens. I once got a light grey katana that had some kind of pink discoloring.

My chess set has it but I don't recall my joust set using it. Might have another look. Would be neat if the mould's been updated and Bricklink only lists the flat silver one as known even though someone is selling a dark pearl one.

Yeah when the jousting set first came out they didn't have it in the sets but the later ones I think they put them in cus I got the set right after releasing it and I had the same old sword but I got the new ones in the chest sets. An they change the maces color same with the spears there a slightly different color.

If your talking about a change of color in your Chess set, it's probably due to it being Chinese.
