Here is my first entry into the Heroes Guild!
It is early in the morning, the sun is just starting to rise....Andar and Kole are leaving on an adventure, right after the battle in the Magic Isles!
Just a quick build in-between builds for the MocAthalon.
Enjoy!

I haven't really inspected the rest of the MOC, but the first thing that struck me was that you've got flowers and grass growing between the bridge and doors and also on the far side of the bridge. It seems like a well-used pathway like that would be a bit more worn down or preferably have an actual road.

That tree is top-notch.

I agree, there should be a path. Also, the tree doesn't look that organic; alternating leaf placement would work better, perhaps. Other than that, I like the overall scene.

Yeah, now that I see it, it is a little symmetrical...oh we'll, next time!LettuceBrick wrote:I agree, there should be a path. Also, the tree doesn't look that organic; alternating leaf placement would work better, perhaps. Other than that, I like the overall scene.

Re: LCC Heroes Guild-A1-Leaving Home
First off, the wall and bridge look great! Secondly I think your landscaping is a little bit to structural. The grass-pieces are placed every other stud in a few rows, and as Lettucebrick said, the tree is a little to symmetrical. I think you should look at a few other builders to see how they handled that. Just placing them radomly works for me most of the times, and whenever an empty place shows up put in a different piece. This is all just advice, I really like what you built here and ou show great progress, without doubt. Just a few pointers here and there
