Lego History at Sidney Museum BC

Post by RoyT »

Good Afternoon all,

I had the pleasure of visiting beautiful Sidney British Columbia this week cause I heard there was a Lego Exhibit on display from January to March. Mr. Robin Sather was there during our first BC family day. He was there to build a life size Lego piece. Unfortunately I had to work, but my girlfriend was able to go and take a picture of him.

Here are some pictures from the museum:

Kudos to VIClug for having a display there as well!!

EDIT: Apparently, The picture of the person with the facial hair is NOT Robin Sather. I don't know who he is....... someone enlighten me plz?

Hey John, read the first post again, the one where he gives us a shout out. :tasty:

@RoyT: you should drop by Tillicum Mall March 15-17. We will be doing a thing with Robin again for March Break. A small display of our stuff and a kids building contest sponsored by the mall.

Sorry for the super late response. I hope you got to see us building the BC Ferry and Tillicum this weekend. Perhaps I will start a thread!

Details on the Cherrybomb Show can be found here:

I should be there, selling some sets!! My friend Rod and I will probably be wearing yellow employee shirts. Come and say hi!
