No idea what it's based off of, but it looks great. Love the colors used.

I didn't know either, so I looked it up:

Not a bad rendition, especially for the scale you used!

Great make really, it looks good, I think it is the closest you can come making the powersuit Aran from bricks
I have seen it made with Bionicle bricks and others by a finnish guy called Pate-keetongu

Btw the game Metroid doesn´t seem to be a big thing in the US any more then? If I remember correctly when it first came out it was a much bigger success in the US than in Japan, oh well I remember playing these games much on NES and SNES in the early nineties :)

This is the first time I've heard if it! We used to have a NES, it stopped working a few years ago. Still my favorite gaming system, although a Wii is probably better. :P

Metroid still has a strong following, as it is one of Nintendo's flagship franchises. But it has waned in popularity following the dismal release of Metroid: Other M.

All that aside though, this is a great rendition!

This is quite impressive for the scale. Awesome use of those helmets.

I really like it. I love seeing bricks used in unique ways to create great looking MOCs.
