LCC-Lenfald, The old Elven Fortress Al-Vathiél

Post by Elderon »

Deep in the wandering woods lay the ruins of the old Elven Fortress Al-Vathiél. Abandoned centuries ago it is now host to great band of Orcs and other outlaws.

The Guardians of the Tree have been taught by the Elves themselves in the arts woodcraft and survival and also the art of fighting. They are skilled warriors and reside mostly in the Wandering Wodds in their special Tree Houses. They are the only ones who dare come close to the old fortress, especially when such a great prey as a bear is to be hunted.

Every tower has its own orc-chieftain. This one is owned by chieftain Glyn. He holds a firm and disciplined grip on his men. When he hears the noise the Guardians of the Tree make, his men warn him and prepare themselves for battle.

This is actually a quick build, from all the usable pieces I had still left. The colab-build with Ecclesiasted and Jeroend took up most of my bricks. It was actually meant as a Phase 2 entry in the last GC, but a fever took hold of me the week the of the deadline so I couldn't finish it. So I rewrote the backstory and placed different figs in the creation. I think it fits nice together like this, especially with those new shields from the Forest Maiden :D

Hope you like it

greetings,

Elderon

I very much like it. The white snake staff as smoke from the fire is an interesting idea.

Very cool, the doorway into the fortress works really well and the tree and tower are both excellent :)

Very well done! Nice job on the landscaping. I quite like that tree technique.

Nice! The stone and rock work, especially the doorway are great.
