Project Outlook I/II/III

Post by Hayden. »

Step I
Image
Hayden. had just arrived back at the border of Loreos, after his adventures in Garhim, On crossing of the border he had heard of the proclamation to build defensive structures in the name of the crown, should hostilities arrive.
Now Hayden. had no want for hostilities, they would be bad for his business. However he was a loyal Loreesi, and decided to build a outpost for the crown.
First Hayden recruited a local Masons Guild Member, and they soon found an appropriate area which was flat enough to lay the foundations. They got our their measuring sticks and began to plot the building site.

Step II

After the had finished plotting the area needed for the Outpost tower, they went into the local town and hired a decent construction crew.
First they laid the foundations, then the erected the scaffolding, and started to build upwards...

Step III

A few weeks of building, and the Tower was finished.
Built of stone and wood, it was especially designed to be cheap to build, and easy to repair.
With the colours of Loreos flying proudly outside, denizens on both side of the border will recognize this as noble land.

Up on the battlements Hayden. proudly looked down from his new tower, upon the lands he was sworn to protect, and thought how good a job he was doing. And how good his architect was for including a door.

I really like the second stage! It looks like they have some wooden rebar in there.
You would rather be building right now.

The construction is great, especially the scaffolding, and the completed project looks very elegant :)
