My entry into The Contest Group's Post-MocAthalon Contest, and Lego Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit Custom Minifigures and MOC's Battle of Helm's Deep Customization contest!
For the Contest Group:
11. Illustration.
You've been assigned to illustrate one of your favorite books, show us in the brick one of the illustrations. This should not be based on an existing picture, but your own interpretation of a scene. The more of an artistic flair you give your build, the higher your score will be.
Well, this was my first attempt at a story tower, and I must say, they are quite fun to build! Getting the techniques to make the tower look good and support the levels above it was a terrific challenge! Each level is one of my favorite scenes from the Battle of Helm's Deep.
The last three pictures were a bit rushed, as I forgot to include the characters.
Besides that, Enjoy!

Great job mpoh98.
I like the idea of creating a tower to show the story's progression.
BTW: Did you get my PM (about web design)?

Re: Helm's Deep Story Tower
Hey,
Personally I've never been a big fan of story towers - I've always felt that they basically take a series of good vignettes, and stack them up in such a way that they can't be photographed very well. That said, I really like the various components taken separately, particularly the great perspective you've got in the top level. I just put that on TolkienBricks.
