I got them through the LUG bulk program. I selected the barding as one of my element choices. If you are part of a LUG it is something you could have done as well. Any LEGO piece in current production is a possible choice. As for the price, I don't think I am allowed to discuss that outside of the LUG.

Darn. I, regretfully, don't have a LUG near me, and even if I did I would need to arrange transportation (I'm to young to drive).

Is anyone else''s blue building not realy blue? From the pics it looks like it should be as blue as the building from the MMV, however, mine''s more dark.
I''ll take a picture tomorrow in natural lightning.

The blue in this set is Sand Blue, while the blue building in the MMV is Medium Blue. Sand Blue is a bit darker and has less color.

I saw this set built at the Lego store, and it is everything I hoped it would be.

It's probably already been mentioned but those brown frogs for table legs are ingenious.

This is a wonderful set!
I am planning getting two of them and merge them. Simply awesome!
Also, the black falcon knight is amazing!

I visited the new store that has just opened in Leeds, UK. I know every store is pretty much the same (layout, products etc) but it's always interesting to see the local twist they put on things.

The twist here seems to be they don't follow instructions when making the store builds...

Spot the deliberate mistakes... by andhe :-), on Flickr

I've noted the many errors on flickr. How to make such a beautiful set look goofy :P

Happy Dance :) Finally got the joust myself! I love the Black (Falcon) knight and the fact that there are 2 extra shields that come with him :) Now I have something to go along with my old black/blue/white black falcon shield and the two torsos :)
