We'll I don't 'really' have enough space to put it all out at once and the first time I'll be able to see it properly in one myself will be at STEAM!

You probably looked at some for inspiration, right?
Oh yes! I'm an English Heritage member so get into there sites for free. I've done quiet a few castles in the last year plus, including some Welsh ones. So as an example of direct inspiration, Peveril castle (in the Peak district of England) is the basis for my keep. http://www.english-heritage.org.uk/days ... il-castle/

One of my favourite details in castles in toilets, no idea why, but they fascinate me. So if you every see somebody looking up a castle toilet its a good chance it's me! In my castle so far I have around 8 working toilets, two which I will be able to demonstrate at the show. Now I wonder, could charge people a penny to have a go?

I wish I had the skill! :)

The terrain, the mottling, the architecture/layout... all very good. How much time did this take you so far?

Thanks bud.

It's been in the planning for over a year. As a team we're on the 12 revsion. Personally I've been working on isolated sections since close to a year and a half ago (some of the bits I was experimenting with ended up in Clattenburg Castle, part of my CCCX submission). My work commenced in December on the final layout as I used CCCX to help with inspiration. I have until September to finish, so should be ok!

Whoa man! This outstanding stuff! I love seeing builds at such a grand scale yet still keep a great amount of details. Looks brilliant, can't wait to see it finished. :)
