Thank you, all of you for your kind words!
Any suggestions on specific Duplo for kids?
Also, I realize he is a few years too early, but when specifically did you give your children Duplo?

Re: Future Lego Builder!
Before duplo, LEGO used to make Primo which a baby can have because the blocks are huge. You may want to see if you can find some of that on bl or ebay.

Re: Future Lego Builder!
Congrats! He's got kind of a grumpy old man expression in that pic. Is this your first? Good luck on getting sleep for the next few weeks.
My youngest started grabbing Duplo bricks as soon as she could crawl around, since they're nice and colorful and her older siblings left them strewn around the living room. OTOH, realize that your System bricks have likely now been relabeled as "your box of choking hazards" in your wife's eyes, and you'll want to keep those in a separate room or on a workbench once the little guy is crawling around. It's really only now that our youngest is 18 months that System pieces get to be out on the floor, and that's largely because (again) her siblings are slobs. Oddly I can't seem to get my four year old to appreciate the fine art of keeping LEGO sorted.

I am dying for any sleep!!! I am so tired, even right now.
I'm actually sitting right beside my wife right now (12:42 am here) who just fed the baby. I am here on my laptop for moral support
As a matter of fact, she just looked at me and asked, "you're reading about LEGO this late?" Well duh, what else would I be reading about this late!?
