Double posting to give one last reminder. You've basically got this weekend. The deadline is July 1 - this Monday. Since I didn't think to specify, I'm not going to be a stickler on time zones. Just assume that it has to be in before I wake up on Tuesday morning (I wake up early, btw).

Re: Calendar Contest - Deadline approaches!
Hey all,
Thanks for entering. I just went through all of the submissions and there are enough great photos for several years of calendars. We'll get back to you before too long about the results. Please be patient.
Assuming the actual production of the calendar goes well, and if anyone actually buys it, you can expect another contest along these lines next year.

I'm pretty sure I'll buy a copy of the calendar, thanks for hosting this

Re: Calendar Contest - thanks for the entries!
I'm hopeful that we'll get a lot of sales. I wouldn't want to go through a lot of work on this and then only have like ten people actually order the calendar. If it goes really well, in the subsequent year we might throw a dollar into the cost and use the profits to help offset the costs associated with the CCC and other contests, but I don't really want to run this as a money-making thing. I'm happy to offer these to the larger AFOL/TFOL community as a way to highlight some great creations, promote Classic-Castle, the CCC, and the castle theme in general. The site that I'm going to use to create the calendar also lets you edit in different dates - I'm sure that the vast bulk of their sales are people who upload various family pics, and then add in birthdays, anniversaries, etc and then give the calendars as Christmas gifts to grandpa and grandma, etc (in fact, I think I'm going to do that this year). Anyway, as far as possible I'm going to include the dates of the major AFOL conventions as well, to help promote the community in general.

You should add the birthdays of the 12 people who's MOCs are selected for the calendar!
