Overload and AK pretty well covered it. I would like to try the same thing being a fleshy guy myself but I don't own any of those hairpieces. I would imagine the blonde one with yellow ears from the CMF elf would need fewer coats than the werewolf's. It's pretty easy to trade for people's unwanted fleshy stuff here as most of them seem to like those ugly lemon heads. As for the printing on the heads, if you'll just use brasso on them you can make blanks. A small disclaimer though: I haven't melted any flesh yet and some colors melt better than others; yellow works great, metallics do not and some of the others are in between. If you try it, start with a small piece and don't forget to let us know how it turns out!Ferretclaw wrote:Thats great looking! Personally, I definitely prefer flesh to yellow. But I'm wondering if you could make the yellow paint as flesh instead, and paint the ears on the series 3(?) elf hair and the werewolf hair. One quarrel i have with the lotr elf hair is that you cant really put a quiver on the elf that has it (well, you actually can, but the hair pops off a lot a looks kinda weird with the quiver on). As for molding, it would be really cool to do a helmet with elf hair hanging out the back, like on the lothlorien troop in the helms deep level on the lego lord of the rings game.
I'm considering making some sand green and dark red ears next to put on some orcses.
