Massive Castles by Kotsky.org members

Post by Bruce N H »

Hey all,

Members of Kotsky.org are participating in a really impressive display at Lipno Point, a lakeside resort in the south of the Czech Republic, very near the Austrian border and also the Bavarian region of Germany. It seems that this display will be up through the end of September (though I'm basing this on Google's translation tool, so you may want to check the details). Anyway, I don't know who built what, so perhaps some of our Czech forum members can help fill in the details. Oh, they have pirates and trains and space, too, if you like that sort of thing. But who could even notice with all of these beautiful castles. Chairudo has a big Flickr set - you should go through the whole thing, as these are only selections:

These are absolutely outstanding MOC's! The rockwork and landscape is quite realistic, not to mention the size of the castles.
To have access to that many bricks would be awesome. :D
Great Work.

I agree with sir Valiant these are sweet. I have been wanting to build my first castle and am seeking inspiration. These have given me some guild ideas.

I would be very interested in knowing how many pieces that Minas Tirith has and who paid for all them

Hi all, in the first picture you can see collaborative Castle project. Here is a map and
here is the whole topic about it (I know it's in czech, but there are bunch of pics)

Second MOC is Old Town Hal made by Rhox.

Third MOC is Siege made by Linhi.

Fourth MOC is Rožmberk Castle also made by Linhi.

Fifth MOC is Cathedral of St. Bartholomew made by Hardegon.

Sixth MOC is Hluboká nad Vltavou made by Ryxe.

Last one is Minas Tirith by Chairudo, you've seen his gallery.
Except for Minas Tirith, Collaborative castle project and Siege all those MOC were sponsored by Michal Šnobr owner of Lipno-point areal.
Here is an official page of exhibition.

Hey FilipS,

Thanks for identifying the builders and providing the links! That's a really amazing display. Do you have MOCs in there as well?
