Re: LCC - Rising to Power...
this is indeed true Chartes if able to win a following could place a claim to the throne if he wanted to in which case I would be much more comfortable considering he is truly Lenfaldian also chartes has been raised in Loreas even if we are at odds at time with those dust mongrels they probably have raised him just as well as we would have [well maybe not exactly........] but he knows of the proper way to handle things not like that woman from the Magic isles

Still your tongue lest you lose it and show some respect half-elf. If a deal you wish to seek, a deal you can have...but take note that Lord Tathann is under the protection of greater Patrons who will not see him come to harm.Ferretclaw wrote:royalbrickcustoms wrote:Why don't you and I form an "aliance"? It sounds good to me. But, I cannot speak for all outlaws, only my band of course, and as a warning, if you intentionally attack Lenfald of your own will, you may wake up with a dagger between your ribs my band numbers 42 elvish rangers under my command, as well as a handful of outlaw friends I have made along my adventures. What forces do you command?
Now I can't speak for all the people of Loreos...but my people are of sound mind and reason...if this "would be Queen" proves to be a strong champion to take the throne so be it...my people will not support her, but they will not go against her unless the circumstances warrant such action. Also I would encourage my Lenfald and Garheim brethren to stop the slanderous talk against Loreos...the war cost everyone children...so its best to move on and figure out how we shall entreat with the present Queen and this "would be Queen".

She is just power thirsty.
Maybe we outlaw should murder her and offer her head to the highest bidder!

Perhaps bids should be garnered prior to doing the deed. I don't foresee a lot of people willing to pony up big piles of cash once the hit has already been made!! Hahaha.
Stay tuned, the next section of the story is coming soon!

Either that, or the highest bidder is the one who gets to relieve her of her head themselves

Re: LCC - Rising to Power...
So far it seems like no one wants to give the "would be Queen" a chance. Oh well...I would have figured the Outlaws of all the groups would be more likely to support rather than sell her out.

Negative? Of course not! We're just patriotic. I want the prince of Loreos on the throne!AK_Brickster wrote:Yep, very sad. A real bunch of "Negative Nancies" we have around here...Mattiusxavier wrote:So far it seems like no one wants to give the "would be Queen" a chance.

Haha! And the Garhims want the Jarl on the throne, and the Lenfels want their High Lord on the throne, etc, etc!
This is exactly why Roawia needs someone to lead who is impartial and not an overwhelming favorite by any one faction. Perhaps Galainir is just such a person!

Re: LCC - Rising to Power...
hmm... yes I am very skeptical of this so called "Queen" mainly because she has no noble blood [At least none that can be proven and I actually am in support of young Chartes being given the throne}

Re: LCC - Rising to Power...
Chartres' nobility is tied only to Lenfald. He's purportedly the descendent of Lord Godfrey Wenseclaus II, former ruler of Lenfald. Chartres therefore has no more royal claim that any other noble in Roawia.

Re: LCC - Rising to Power...
YOu do make A good point however I would much prefer I young ruler than one of the old stiffs in command of the factions now

Re: LCC - Rising to Power...
Rowia does not need a queen, or a king! That puts all the power in one person, who may or may not misuse it. It should be as it is now, the faction leaders left to discuss things among themselves. How long do you think a central leader will really live with all these enemies, myself included, all waiting for a chance to spill her blood? She is but one person, and one person can easilly be slain. Then Rowia would be plunged into yet another war, worse perhaps this time, and would be shattered completely. We are on the right track right now, I say we strengthen the bonds of peace between the faction leaders now, and throw this murderous imposter into the sea with a stone tied to her neck!
