Hey,

I'm pretty excited about this set. As a chemist, I'm happy to get that one, scarecrow, elf, yeti, Blues Brother, English policeman, grandma, Bavarian girl, gingerbread man, Tiki mask. There are only three that I actually don't want (space marine, oddly naked diner waitress, rock climber).

I agree that the waitress's outfit looks too close to her skin tone. I'm hoping it's just a quirk of the image being a scan of a print and that the actual figure will look better.

The only figs in this series I don't actively want are the waitress, welder, and mountain climber...and if I happen to get them, I might hang onto them anyway! That's how cool this set is!

This is a great lineup and YETI! YETI!! Sorry, I just couldn't control myself. I have to say my heart sank when I saw that his head/headwear were one piece though. :?

Nice looking group of minifigs. For me, minifigs 1-8 are ones I'd like to have complete. The remaining 8 have interesting parts. I'm curious to see what the welder and tiki guy's face look like underneath. I agree about the Yeti one piece head. Although I'd like it to have been a 2 piece, I still think it is awesome. The Gingerbread man is a must for me because of my wife and the elf is something needed also ( I keep getting bugged to make a Christmas village). I think it's pretty cool for them to continue the Blacktron theme throughout the series. Thanks for sharing.

Mmmm, Blacktron robot....

Other than that, I am not really too excited about this one. I do like the Tiki guy (Islander!, and the barbarian would work nicely as well) Others have a couple interesting parts.

Oooh! Cat!

I seem to be the only one who really doesn't care for this series. The welding equipment looks great, but besides that it feels a little too specialized (maybe that is why people like it).

Cheers and God Bless,

I think the Scarecrow is the coolest minifigure I have seen in a while.

Bavarian Girl and Yeti are ridiculously cute.

The Blacktron Robot, Tiki Warrior, and British Cop look like great army builders for their respective fans.

The Welder, Chemist, Elf, and Grandma are well designed.

The barbarian looks good, but seems too distinct in appearance to be desirable in multiples.

The Jazz Musician would make a great gangster.

I think the roller waitress' outfit is too yellow, but I love the face and hair, especially those glasses!

The Gingerbread Man is too weird for my tastes. I could see using him as part of a sign for a bakery, but that's about it.

Mountain Climber does nothing for me.

I love robots, but the girl robot seems... ridiculous.

Great series overall. Scarecrow, Bavarian Girl, and Blacktron Robot are my favorites here.

Looks pretty cool :) i like the face print for the barbarian, and the the elf hat is useful for me... Might get a few for swordselves in my LCC legion. And then paint the ears flesh. But thats also a useful piece for Link and stuff.

Hmm, lots of goodness...

Gingerbread man, abominable snowman, and elf for my Christmas Village. Elf to expand my elven forces. A wife for my baker. A nice scarecrow for my farm. A new islander chief (not that I have done anything with islanders and pirates for a long time). Old lady with cat. Barbarian. Saxaphone player for a band.

Someone in Poland has managed to snag some of these already.

It does show that the waitress's uniform is more of a pale yellow than the standard 'skin yellow', and she also has a dual face.

I'm still disappointed by the Barbarian, a new sword or axe mould would have been epic. Guess I'll still pick up a few and swap the pieces out.

The pictures don't show the welder's face, but I guessing it will be something with sweat/dirt, which hopefully will be good.

The climber looks like the skydiver of the series. I'm sure someone will love him, but I expect there to be copious amounts per box.

See...now I like the mountaineer. It is done really well and it has a coil of rope that is awesome! I have many a plans for that rope. And my rock climbing friends will all be super excited if they got one of those. So excellent if he is the one there are a lot of. As well the barbarian has potential. If I had anything to be disappointed in him, its that they are using the same wig again, but that is very minor. Personally, he reminds me more of a pro-wrestler than a barbarian, but sweet now we can have a WWE Wrestlemania event..um..okay one of you can build that...not my thing, but the torso is awesome.

Love the other side of the waitress's face! I can hear her going "You gonna order something, hon?"

Maybe she's asking the barbarian: "You gonna order something, Hun?" :P

Interested in the Barmaid-looking girl as well, the Yeti looks fun. I might have to scour for the Grandma just for that kitty. :)
I don't think we will get Zelda, but that cap screams Smurfs to me.
