The mushrooms in that set are neat, the tooth pieces aren't too shabby either. I dont know that I would want more than three or four of them (but hey, free is free!).

I like that the torsos are so bad I could use stickers on them.

I think I will just do some online orders.

Regarding kingdoms joust and the chess set. How long can I expect LEGO to sell these on their online store?

I wouldn't "expect" them to be on sale for too much longer. That said, they might be available for another year, but if you want them, I'd suggest sooner rather than later (ie, buy them before you buy Orthanc, which will likely be in production for quite a while).

Yes the mushrooms are good, the figures would go to my wife an daughter, everything else mine. I plan to get 4 or so. As for the joust and chess set. Get them sooner then later. I still have to get one more chess set, for parts....

FYI - I was at the LEGO store in Cinci about a week ago and the most notable thing they had were 1x2 tiles in purple. Don't really have a use for them yet, but any time they have tiles, especially in a rare color like purple, it's worth picking them up.

Also, the BTTF set is supposed to go on sale Thursday if you're interested in that. Don't know if they have those in stock yet or not.

Were there any other tiles or round plates?
I'm trying to get some 1x1 round plates.

When I was there it seemed like most of the inventory was bricks.

They had some 2x2 yellow tiles and 1x4 reddish brown tiles, but I didn't notice anything else. I don't recall seeing any 1x1 round plates, although usually any that I have found in the past have been in trans-colors (ie, light trans-blue was popular a while ago).
