The highlight of the exibit was the One Ring, but for me it was the wall of armor. Seeing all the suits lined up was very inspiring. It was also very neat to see which ones had historical influence.
I also had an opportunity to hold Gandalf's Sword, and check out actual historical armor like a Viking helm, chainmail, platemail, and guantlets.
There was even a chainmail glove, and when you put it on the attendant pulls out a knife and tries to slice your hand (EEEEKKKK!!!) Luckily the mail protected me.
Another highlight was seeing Sauron! That was truly impressive. From up close, he and all the costumes and props were amazing, true craftmanship. Everything was super detailed. The dead Borimir in the boat looked almost too real. I really admire the costume makers and armorers a lot!
Unfortunatly there were no camera's allowed for some reason so I have no pics, and have not be able to find them. The exibit link is here:

And the museaum site is here:

If you live in this area I would definatly reccommend a visit. Even if your not a big LOTR fan, there is still much to look at and awe at.
I believe it will be traveling across the country but I cannot confirm this. If it comes close to you have a look, you won't regret it.
Truly yours,
Dragon Master
