The Flickr link won't be up until the draft is completely sorted and organized.
In order to join FLICKR, you need to have a yahoo account. It is very simple to do.

In the meantime, I would direct everyone to AK_Brickster's draft thread to see how the drafting works and to see how picks are made.
We will be doing the snake draft method as well.

Does anyone have questions about how drafting works? Now is as good a time to any to ask them.

Jim, if you have an extra set, I'll hop in for the final spot. Just PM me what I owe you (we can split the shipping to Sshmidt - I suggest combining both sets into one box - be careful not to wad the stickers though).

You're welcome, Gurusql ;)

Perfect. It's going out in the morning and I will send you the info at that time.
Sound good, SSchmidt?

On a side note it will be a good warm up for BrickCon as I think it is one of the draft sets there too.

Are you going to give us any suggestions for split lots once you have everything in front of you, or is it "speak now or forever hold your peace"? ;)

I will keep everyone very well informed.

We will cover all the lots before we start the draft.

Off hand, I can't think of anything that would merit special attention as far as pieces go.

There is a turntable base and the turntable piece (2 separate pieces) but my thought was we should put those pieces together in one lot.

Is there any piece you all notice that draws attention or should be split up?

For the leaves are we doing 1 lot or seperate for color and shape difference? I agree with the turn tables should be 1 piece. Also since we have 2 lots for arwen is all the hair going into 1 lot or is it going to be split in groups of 4?

Otherwise i really dont see much any thing garnering any special situation, other then whay we spoke. thoughts ak?

Agreed on the turntables. I would think that since the leaves are two different parts they would be two lots. I would think the Arwen hair would be a single lot.

I ok with the turntables being together or separate. On my opinion, the leaves should for sure be in different lots. I saw that there was 8 of the light bley corner pieces - should that be split into 2 lots?

No I don't think the 8 bleys should be split into different lots. I imagine 64 of those pieces are no more valuable than 40 of the Olive Green Leaves.

The leaves will be two separate lots as well since they are two different pieces.

I am, however, open to splitting up the bleys. If the majority of the group wants to split those 64 pieces into two 32 piece lots, I wouldn't have a problem with it. I don't however, think it is necessary.

Any other questions on lots? We want to have everything ironed out before we do any drafting :)

I say keep the corner pieces as one lot. Not terribly valuable and when we had over 130 1x2 bricks in the last draft we kept them as one lot. Things should only be split if they are exceptionally valuable, IMO.

Same for Arwen hair. I vote one lot for that and combine turntable parts into one lot (like the click hinges from last draft).

After looking over all the pieces I think we have covered all the bases.

Also, I just really investigated the piece breakdown of gatehouse raid in the castle line. Man that would be a fun set to draft in the not to distant future :D

But to stay on topic, is there anyone (other than biggerjim and AK) that haven't actually bought or mailed their sets? We could feasibly start this by the end of next week, assuming all the shipments get here on time.
