I stopped by a TRU and 2 different Walmarts and neither of them had any. I read that some Walmarts and TRU had started setting them out. Can anyone confirm any sightings at their local stores?

I was at a Target, a TRU, a Walmart...only TRU had figs and it was a tiny amount..maybe like 15 series 10. No one else had any figs. Lots of new sets. TRU has lots of their LEGO related products. I was suprised too, since this TRU has a history of putting out things even before other TRU's. But I am actually glad since I am still trying to finish my series 10.

Came back from holiday to find series 11 had hit my local supermarket. Surprising as they only just put out series less than a month ago (the leftover series 9 got relegated to the 'clearance' section, but at still £1.75, it will take a bit more reduction to tempt me).

After a bit of feeling, I left with these guys.

A few notes of advice, the tribal dude's mask is actually rubbery so couldn't work out what I was feeling, the spear helps though. The Gingerbread man's head is surprisingly small, again the mug confirms it. I was also expecting the Scarecrow's crow to be rubbery (like the series 10 sea gull), but it isn't, it's hard plastic, but the pitchfork helps distinguish this guy from the sax player (who has a similar shape hat).

I had a pretzel girl in my hands, but had forgotten it was a '2' or I would have bought it. Surprised the gingerbread man is a '4' as couldn't find any others in the box apart from the one I bought.

Tried all of my local stores this weekend. No series 11.

WalMart: Nothing. They've been out of Series 10 for a while, Series 11 could be any day.

Shopko: A few series 9 left. They never got Series 10, but they usually get CMFs later than other stores.

Target: A few series 10 left. They recently restocked Series 9 and Series 7.

(I had just been thinking to myself, "Man, wouldn't it be awesome if Target had Series 7 on the shelf again so I could get more Space Marines?" Ask and ye shall receive? )

Since I live a small town our nearest Wal-Mart doesn't even carry CMFs. But there is a Target, Toys "R" Us, and two super center Walmart's within 40 minutes.
I usually get minifigs at Wal-Mart unless TRU has buy two for $5, and the Target had series 8 still (probably a month ago now). I just hope I can get at least one scarecrow, an elf and a few barbarians next time I'm able to go...

Still resisting- not planning on buying any.

I wonder if some of these tend to appear quicker in different regions of the USA, because I have yet to find any S11 minifigs. I have checked multiple Walmarts, TRU, Target, and none of them had any. I'm starting to think they set them out, sell all of them, and hide the displays/evidence, in between my visits.

Lol! :)

I could get you some. :)

I recently got 5 (just last Friday) and I'm 100% accurate so far.

I finally found these guys at Target, and I'm pretty happy with them. The box was pretty picked over, but I still found all I wanted except for the barbarian and Scarecrow. The ones I got were both Tiki, yeti, gingerbread, pretzel girl, and elf.

I don't like the sounds of the future of this line. I like the Simpsons show okay even though I haven't watched in a decade, but won't bother with the figs. The next two waves are rumored to be based on the lego movie and a video game, correct? I really like these disparate sets we've been having so far, and hope the line survives the possible bombing of one of these next few specialty waves.

Ha! We have the same tastes! :tasty:

I found two picked-over cases at Fred Meyer (a Pacific NW retail chain) and found a Tiki, Yeti, Gingerbread Man, Pretzel Girl, 2 Elves, and a Scientist (for my wife, who is starting her education in nuclear medicine today!)

No Barbarian or Scarecrow for me either though :(

There actually seemed to be an abundance of yetis, as well as UK Police officers, lady robots, and welders

Not surprising as these are the 4 and 6ers.

Those scarecrows are going to to be like the proverbial needle in a haystack unless you find an unpicked box.

Hay! The analogy that finding a scarecrow is like finding a needle in a haystack is a straw man argument! Or perhaps I'm gleaning an unintended meaning. If so, I'll eat crow for it.

Bwahahahahaha!

But seriously, you're probably right. I hate this 2-figs per case distribution. It suuuucks.
