Shimmerock Cave
Shimmerock Cave
Shimmerock Cave by GrayOverload, on Flickr
On the border of the Crown Kingdom and the Dragon Kingdom, there is a medium-sized forest called the Bloomwood, in which a high abundance of flowers can be found. At the heart of the Bloomwood is Shimmerock Cave, where the waters have mystical healing properties.
The party was last seen in Angten, but have since made their way to the entrance of Shimmerock Cave. Scott strolls towards the gaping maw while Ryan is struck with awe at the hole. Holly woofs eagerly, and together the three of them observe their surroundings, scanning for danger.
"Looks like the only way left to go is in!" Scott says before stepping into the abyss, with Holly and Ryan on his heels…
The next part of the adventure, and the first destination! What lies deep within Shimmerock Cave? We shall see, soon enough...
C&C welcome.

Very cool! The flowers look a lot more welcoming than the cave does!

Re: Shimmerock Cave
At first I thought you could almost see something inside, but then realized its just the reflection of the wizard in the bricks. Could this have been planned, in that the shimmering rocks reflect images? Nice job!

Re: Shimmerock Cave
Excellent scene, the rockwork looks natural and I like the flowers on top.
I'm interested to see where the story goes from here

Nice use of the blue baseplate as the sky.

Re: Shimmerock Cave
Thanks! I've adopted a motto of keeping everything in the main shots completely LEGO, so, the sky must be LEGO something and baseplates are the most manageable option!LettuceBrick wrote:Nice use of the blue baseplate as the sky.

What awaits within Shimmerock Cave? There must be some sort of guardian watching over the water.
