Built for the Landscapes of Mitgardia group project in Guilds of Historica. I experimented with some new techniques in this build: the water, the snow, and the trees. The water and trees original designs are by Buurli_Burri and Brother Steven. The snow design is new as far as I know, basically you use white tiles set on top of dark bley slopes. To keep the tiles from falling off you build around them a bit with other slopes/bricks etc.
The pictures should show what I mean.

At first I didn't notice anything different about the snow. I think it gives it a nice texture in addition to regular slopes and tiles. Nice work!

Great job Isaac, the snow is awesome! That water design is just sweet, I need to get some of those 1x2 bricks.

@Aeridian: Glad you like the snow technique
@mpoh98: Thanks! Every single time I've went to the nearest PaB they've had those trans 1x2 bricks, I could probably pick you up a cup next time I go if you'd like

Your ice techniques are really good here. I recently acquired a bunch of those trans 1x2, and I want to incorporate them into some waterfalls and ice scenes similar to this. You've given me some great ideas here!

Re: Mitgardian Spear Fishing
I wish I had a lot of those 1x2 bricks. I've got a ton of plates, but no bricks. Oh well.
This looks great man!

Thanks, and you could do something similar with the plates, just use them studs up and vary the color plates below themGavin of Lockwood wrote:I wish I had a lot of those 1x2 bricks. I've got a ton of plates, but no bricks. Oh well.
