LCC- Local Challenge 15: A Safe Haven

Post by General JJ »

Image

After narrowly escaping from town, Jørn Jakobsen and his men lead the villagers to an abandoned outpost that has long been omitted from maps of Garheim. Its whereabouts, unknown to all but a few men, make it the perfect hiding place from Queen Galainir's forces. With plenty of fish, shelter and protection, the transition from town life to camp life has been largely successful.

Love the ruined bits and rockwork. The dark murky water really gives it a cold feel. Great job guys! :)

Wow, this is awesome! Like Aeridian said, the ruined tower is boss, and sweet water, looks dark, murky, and mysterious. :)

I really like the water effect on the breaching fish. Well done!

If I had to pick a favorite part of the MOC, that would be it, but I also like the shoreline and the "black ice" color of the water. Nice Job.

I think the SNOT technique used on some of the tower is really cool. It gives it a lot more detailed and rugged feel. I still love those 1x2 bricks for the ice water. They look great.
