New custom pieces from Krazy Kastle Krak Guy

Post by K3G »

Hello everybody,
I just came back from my Second Dark Age, and posted today a lot of new ABS custom pieces (headgear and weapons) in Castle - Middle Age Theme.
Have a look on my Brickshelf Gallery : http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=535251
All of them are for sale on my Bricklink store.
Your comments will be appreciated.
Thanks!

It would probably be good to include a link to your brinklink store (or the name of it). These are really cool pieces. I am interested in purchasing some of them :)

Wow those are really cool, and well made! I really like the pope's hat, Pharaoh's, double crown, the kings crown, everything is amazing! :D I might be interested in purchasing a few, thanks for sharing!

These are terrific! I think the pharaonic crown and imperial crown are my favorites!

I like what you've done here. The designs are very nice. I wish I would have had something like this oh, about twenty years ago when I was more into the hierarchy and symbols of the Catholic Church. But now to bring these items, as good as they are, into say my 2010 Lions or Dragons factions would add a "link" or "tie" to our history that I'm not sure I want. To use these would convert them to Christianity/Catholicism which, even though I was raised Catholic and still consider myself as such, I don't want to do. That's where I'll have to leave it, I don't want to discuss the pros and cons of current religions as that would change the thread focus.

These are good. I hope you make some more non-denominational pieces like the crown and the Egyptian headdresses are really great. Perhaps an "ankh" hand held holy symbol to go with?

We'll, this is not the good place to discuss about that.
All my items are made as historically accurate as possible, and I don't want to generate a debate about the religion.
By the way, if one wishes to build a real-based Middle Age European castle or cathedral (and not only "fantasy" or inexistent ones), it is really probable that one Bishop could be inside, and at those period the Roman Catholic Church was everywhere, that's an historical fact, that's all.
So, no need to be faithful in Catholicism to have those custom items, thanks God!
For the crowns, I always thought that the original one provided by the Company was not really exact historically, so I made my own ones. Very soon I'll produce also some others.
About the Egyptian pieces: I'm not into fantasy, I have never seen a Pharaoh using an ankh in real life, only in hieroglyphs, so I think that a scepter and a flail would be more exact.

Great customs. I really like the Egyptian crowns. If you made an Egyptian Ankh and flail or a scepter they would be awesome to go with the Egyptian crowns. :D
Great work on them I'm definitely ordering some
