Here is my micro contest entry, I decided against the griffon even though there was a whole story line in my head about it. :oops:

at any rate, its fun just to participate again. The other entries are quite incredible, and I totally enjoyed looking at them.

Neat idea with the prison cage, it adds to the menacing feel of the build. I also like the arrow slits in the keep and the windows on the top floor of the tower.
Great lava effect as well :)

Back from baseplates unknown...good to have a master builder back in the house. Great job, I like the burnt trees and the overall layout, the lava a great twist!

thanks everyone. i was trying to find the link of the guy who inspired me with the lava, but its been a number of years. then I got totally distracted by all the cool castles out there.
OMG have you guys seen these??
