Sarlina's Cottage

Post by Legonardo »

Sarlina was always an adventurous person, right from childhood. she was brought up in a small cottage in the village of grim hollow on the Dark Isle of Avalonia, with her two loving parents. although a dark time, she was happy, and enjoyed the friendship of Tayrn. One night long ago her house was looted and her parents beheaded, when she woke that morning something in her snapped, a rebellious nature has born into her, as well as longing for justice.
or perhaps a lust for revenge?
since then she rarely visits her cottage, always off getting up to something...

Really cool dilapidated look there! Looks like Sarlina must be old if she is at all near the age of the cottage :tasty: .

Hey Legonardo,

This is really terrific. I've put it up on the front page - usually I PM someone first and write a longer write-up, but I've been really bad about front page coverage lately and just wanted to get something awesome posted.

BTW, is the implication that your CCC builds will chronicle the adventures Sarlina has after leaving her old home?

Thanks guys!
by warm up, i meant getting back into building quick and a trail for some techniques which you will see refined throughout the competition.
Sarlina is part of Derfel Cadarns "The Dark Isle" serie, this is a one off thing, i probably won't be featuring her again.

The angle of the cottage and the tilt of the wood.. There are so many awesome details in this MOC! Absolutely fantastic and a well deserved spot on the front page!
