[CCCXI] Realistic Castle Figure: the Spanish Inquisition

Post by Rifiröfi »

Hello everyone,

here is my entry to the CCC XI Realistic Castle Figure category: the Spanish Inquisition.

Image

Just when you least expect them...

"Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition! Our chief weapon is surprise... Surprise and fear... Fear and surprise... Our two weapons are fear and surprise... And ruthless efficiency.... Our three weapons are fear, surprise, and ruthless efficiency... And an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope... And nice red uniforms."

Your comments and critics are very much appreciated!

Cheers
Adam

And if the accused won't crack, then the guy on the right will TP their home! Oh, the horror!! :o

Awesome use of the green cheese. I love that technique and will definitely file that into my overstuffed mental catalog of tricks.

That's great! Love the build, it suits the minifigs well. Where did you get the cross?

Haha this is great! Gotta love MP builds. The wall behind them is well detailed, too.

Just laugh as much you want, but don't be surprised if three gentlemen in nice red uniforms show up unexpected at your place...

Thank you Jordan, you really should keep using those stored techniques, build away! I have some hundreds of those olive green cheese slopes, pick-a-bricked in the nearby LEGO shop.

The cross is a custom part, made of a toothpick and a golden string.

Spoiler Alert: there might be another MP build in the prototyping phase for a certain CCC XI category (Arthurian scene). Pssst!

Ding-ding-ding-ding-ding! That really meant to be a scroll/parchment ("You are hereby charged that you did on diverse dates commit heresy against the Holy Church.")

Thank you SSchmidt! They really look like the characters in the scenes, the only "modified" lego brick is the hat, which has been painted red (the paint can be removed, or at least I hope so) and the custom piece is the cross (made of a toothpick and golden string).
