Christmas on Main Street

Post by Quickblade22 »

My wife wanted me to make some Christmas scenes for her and this is what I came up with so far. I used a base of 22 x 22  which I plan to try as a limit to my future builds. Enjoy!!

Lovely job, nice border! I like the SNOT work as well!

I agree, the border is pretty sweet. I also like the decorations in the windows, it's a great touch.

Thanks for the comments. My wife was surprised by the MOC and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Here are some more pictures I uploaded today with more detail.

Yeah, the border is terrific, but the whole thing is really well done. I like the interior scene. I think that a little bit of snow at the intersection of the sidewalk and wall would be a nice touch to add.

Thanks AK. I actually tried to put a plate underneath the windows so I could put some white cheese slopes, but the technic pins didn't line up right. I suppose if I'd played around with it a bit I'd have found a solution. The flags are supposed to be angled, but I didn't want to leave them angled and causing stress on the clip plates over night, then forgot to angle them again. On second thought, my wife took all these photos before I was awake the next day. :tasty:

Nicely done, nicely done indeed. You've captured a Christmas feeling quite well. :)
