Winter Scene at the park

Post by Quickblade22 »

I made another winter/Christmas scene for my wife. I'm not doing Christmas MOCs early, I'm actually 16 years late :tasty: Enjoy!!

Very cute! I love all the different activities on display, and the use of the white "splat" from Brickforge for snow on the tree is terrific!

I started building my village today. I mostly use the "Winter Village" sets they release every year, but I've been thinking of adding my own little touches.

Great scene! I love the large platters used as sleds and the guy falling on the ice looks perfect

Thanks for the comments. My wife actually took these photos and she was pretty happy with how this turned out. I told her the couple was us. This isn't how I proposed, but it's the thought that counts.

Thanks! The spill/splat works better than I had hoped. The white ones are currently on sale at the website. I'd like to build a village, but all those sets are out of my price range. One day maybe I'll get a whole village built.

Thanks! It was tough to get all the activities in the photo without cluttering it up too much.

Thanks! All the characters except for the guy kneeling and the kid building the snowman are just placed on there and fall when you move them. I'm glad the platters worked as well as they did.

Love the atmosphere of the scene. The activities and minifig posing is great.
